The Sun's head of showbiz and Sun on Sunday columnist Dan Wootton is to edit the paper's newly revamped Bizarre section, which has previously been overseen by Piers Morgan, Gordon Smart and Andy Coulson.

Wootton, who also works as showbiz correspondent for ITV's Lorraine, has previously worked at the News of the World and The Daily Mail. Wootton's own showbiz column - Dan Wootton on Sunday - in the Sun on Sunday will be relaunched as Biz on Sunday, edited by Andy Halls and Natalie Edwards.
